Unlike undergraduate admissions, the graduate process is more decentralized. While you apply to FIU through International Admissions and we assist you with the application, admission, and assist with your I-20, your graduate program makes the decision on your application.

All FIU Business face-to-face classes had a seamless transition to remote instruction thanks to our experience accumulated over more than two decades of online education. The Graduate Advisory Committee may approve the transfer of a maximum of 12 graduate credits earned in a non-degree capacity at FIU. Ph.D. students who have satisfied all other requirements for the M.A. apart from the exit requirement (i.e. all coursework and the foreign language competency) are eligible to receive an M.A. degree.

This program provides the knowledge and skills needed to enter the fields of public, private sector, corporate and governmental accounting, or to pursue advanced degrees in accounting, business or law. For public accounting, you must pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination, which in Florida requires 30 credit hours beyond degree.
